Comarra’s 4E1 over IP product is used to transport E1 channels over an Ethernet or an IP network. The 4 x E1 over Ethernet multiplexer product uses TDM over IP technology. This solution transports the legacy E1 data through the existing Ethernet or IP network.

This is NOT “VOIP”. With TDM over IP you get a fully transparent circuit which maintains all signaling of the TDM frame, therefore supporting high-speed modems, FAX and voice channels with no loss of quality.

Price for a 4 x E1 over Ethernet box is $1,900.
