1. If the company tells you they are SMARTnet Eligible, Authorized or that Cisco will support them with a Maint. contract first look the company up at this link:

If the company offering this equipment to you is not listed on the Cisco Partner Locator then they are not a Cisco Partner which means they are not Authorized to sell this product to you as New/SMARTnet Eligible/Authorized.
