Cisco PGW 2200 can manage SS7/C7 signaling on multiple interconnects on an IP network over a wide area. The SS7/C7 interconnects can be up to 80mls (round trip) from a Cisco PGW 2200 POP, enabling a single PGW POP to manage multiple, distant SS7/C7 interconnects. The PGW 2200 can also be deployed in a simple fashion, to manage just a single SS7 interconnect.
